Edgewater Update
The 75 year-old man who drove his vehicle into the lobby of the Edgewater Hotel and Casino in Laughlin this morning may have suffered a medical event. Las Vegas Metro Police said that's one of the possible causes of the accident that occurred about 9:32 a.m.

The silver Pontiac Vibe ended up in the lobby of the casino after entering the building near the valet area. Two casino patrons who were struck were dead at the scene of the accident.

Five other injured patrons were transported to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries. There is no word on their medical conditions.

The driver and two other injured patrons were treated at the scene.
