DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kevin Ray Braziel, 26, Michelle Hoyl, 33, and Rosemary Ann Gomez, 23, all of Kingman early Monday (2/1) morning. Braziel was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, along with driving with suspended license and a failure to appear warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court, misdemeanors. Hoyl and Gomez were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Approximately 2:01 a.m., deputies responded to a threatening situation in the 2500 block of Devlin Avenue. Deputies were advised that a white Mustang was in front of a residence with several occupants and they may have a firearm. While enroute, dispatch advised the vehicle was leaving the area. Deputies observed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 2800 block of John L Avenue. Deputies further observed the vehicle black out in front of a residence and the male driver was running from the vehicle. A short time later, the male subject identified as Braziel was located hiding under a motor home nearby. Deputies found Braziel to be in possession of a syringe and a metal spoon with residue. A record check showed Braziel to have a suspended driver’s license and an outstanding warrant. Braziel was taken into custody without incident. Deputies contacted the two remaining occupants inside the vehicle identified as Hoyl and Gomez. Deputies found a green glass pipe with a white crystal residue on the floorboard where Gomez was sitting. Gomez was taken into custody without incident. Deputies found Hoyl to be in possession of a glass vial which contained a white crystal residue. Hoyl was taken into custody without incident. They were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. Deputies located a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance where Braziel was sitting in their patrol unit after he was transported to the jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
THEFT/DRUGS – MOHAVEVALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Megan Elizabeth Pickard, 29, of Mohave Valley, late Monday (2/1) morning for theft, possession of dangerous drugs, felonies, and possession of prescription drugs not prescribed, misdemeanor. Approximately 10:50 a.m., deputies responded to a shoplifting report at a store in the 10200 block of Harbor Avenue and contacted the reporting party, an employee. The reporting party said that she detained Pickard for shoplifting an I Pod Dock Station. The reporting party said there was another female subject with Pickard, but she fled the store as she approached them. The reporting party further said that she received a call from the Fort Mohave Store Manager warning her of two female subjects driving a white Jeep Cherokee which left her store without paying for CD’s. Deputies contacted Pickard and the stolen dock station was returned to the store. During conversations with Pickard, she admitted to stealing the docking station. Pickard was taken into custody without incident. A search of Pickard’s white Jeep Cherokee revealed the stolen CD’s and a bottle containing numerous Vicodin pills. A search of Pickard’s purse revealed a crystal substance rolled up in a ten dollar bill located inside a small plastic bag which field tested positive for methamphetamine. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation. This incident remains under investigation.
SUSPENDED LICENSE – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kevin Neal Bush, 25, of Kingman, Monday (2/1) afternoon for driving with suspended license, misdemeanor. Approximately 1:52 p.m., deputies observed a speeding vehicle traveling north on Benton Street. The grey sedan passed the deputy and turned left onto John L Avenue where the driver pulled over to the side of the roadway. Deputies observed the driver, later identified as Bush, exit the vehicle. Deputies contacted Bush. A record check showed Bush to have a suspended driver’s license. Bush was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
