One of the two people killed in Wednesday's freak accident in Laughlin has been identified. The Clark County Coroner's Office said Helen Hindman, 81, Lincoln, Nebraska, died of multiple blunt force injuries.
Hindman and another person were killed when struck by an SUV that barged through the glass entrance and into the lobby of the Edgewater Hotel and Casino. The name of the second person who was killed is withheld pending notification of kin.
The man who was driving the SUV said he fainted before the accident. 70 year-old Walter McGie was charged with two counts of reckless driving causing death.
