14th Annual Queen’s High Tea





A Queen’s High Tea, presented by the Lake Havasu Museum of History, will be held on Sunday, February 21 at Martini Bay, London Bridge Resort, from 2 to 4 pm. This is the 14th annual traditional tea which includes Queen Victoria, her court, a Lord Mayor, a bell ringer and a beefeater costumed in clothes of the time. Scones, tea sandwiches, strawberries and cream will be served along with the tea.  A fashion show will be presented by Pauline’s Fashions.

            Hats and gloves are encouraged for this event.  Prizes are given for the most beautiful and for the most unusual hat. There will also be a raffle of interesting items.

            The $25.00 tickets may be purchased at the Lake Havasu Museum of History, 320 London Bridge Road, through February 18. Tickets will not be sold at the door. For further information, call 854-4938.
