MCC Blood Drive Slated For February 16
First-time blood donor Jamie Allan, a student at Mohave Community College’s Bullhead City campus, gets reassurance from United Blood Services phlebotomist Katherine Snodgrass during the donation process this past week. MCC hosted the popular drive on February 2nd, but those who want to give the gift of life can do so at a second blood drive to be sponsored by the Student Nurses’ Organization on February 16th from 1pm to 6pm, at the Bullhead City campus on 3400 Highway 95. UBS tests each blood donation for cholesterol and other factors that can easily be checked online. Donors can get their confidential results at www.bloodhero.com within seven days of their donation.
