A vacant home was damaged by fire early Monday in Bullhead City. Firefighters responding to the fire at 2:47 a.m. at 1620 Arriba Drive encountered flames and billowing smoke showing through the front door and living room area roof.
``Arriving firefighters in Ladder E-11 aggressively attacked the fire with hand-lines at the front of the home," said fire department spokesman Larry Tunforss. ``Engine 21 arrived with additional firefighters and attacked the fire at the rear of the home."
Tunforss said neighboring homes were protected and no injuries were reported. Cause of the fire is under investigation and damage is estimated at $30,000.
